And after the maternity shots come the baby shots! I’ve shown you children’s portraits, but I’d love to share some of my favorite photos of the adorable little babies I’ve gotten to photograph.

Maternity Photography

One thing I regret about my own pregnancies is not taking enough photos. I didn’t feel good enough — physically, or about myself — to get my photos taken professionally, especially as I got further into my pregnancies. But I wish I had! Now, as a photographer, I love to make pregnant women feel beautiful.

Couples Sessions

I love romance! Taking pictures of people who are in love with each other is such a special treat.

Since I take so many family photos, it often means pulling mom and dad away for a moment and reminding them that they are their own unit, too. Frequently, it means getting them to giggle about something because romance in these moments can feel unpracticed or far away in the midst of caring for young children. I actually love working with those couples as much as the ones who naturally know how to work a camera and look in love. I’m here to help you feel comfortable!

Children’s Portraits

Honestly, one of my biggest inspirations as a photographer is how darn cute kids are. I mean, what parent doesn’t have hundreds-to-thousands of shots of their kids on their phone, ready to share with whoever asked to see a picture of their kid (or even, who didn’t)?

There’s something about kids where, when they look into the lens, it feels like you can see their souls.
